EuroMeet 2023

Rambler & AMC Club of Norway bjuder härmed in till EuroMeet i Fredrikstad 18-20 Augusti!

The last time RACN was in Fredrikstad (Euromeet 2016) we registered a turnout of 44 cars, which is very good. Therefore, we have chosen to arrange Euromeet 2023 at the same place. The place is also chosen in terms of proximity to Europe. It is about 35 minutes to the national border to Sweden and less than 3 hours to Gothenburg which has a ferry connection with Denmark and Germany. We therefore want to invite all our friends from far and near to Euromeet Norway 2023 in the Old Town, Fredrikstad. Join us in creating Europe`s largest car meeting within Rambler & AMC. That is, we invite the whole car family: Hudson, Nash, Rambler, AMC and Jeep (1970-1987), so bring your family to Fredrikstad and have a fantastic experience. Program Friday 18th of August: Arrival and registration. Socializing, getting to know each other. It is a very nice area. The city ferry on Glomma can be recommended, or roaming about in the old town, or take the car and drive a little cruising, a lot of fun to look at. Fredrikstad is a city with a lot of classic American cars. The distance to Halden with Fredriksten fortress is also within easy reach. The RACN board will be present throughout the day. Saturday 19th of August: 11:00 We start the day with a joint cruising. Attendance from 10:15 o`clock. 13:00 - 15:00 car show. Then it,s time to take a look at our vehicles. 17:00 prize giving. After 18:00 o`clock we get together for common dining. We have a lottery and auction, as well as an activity or two. Of course, we have not forgotten the children, so own activities for them. We serve coffee and waffles along with lottery and sales of club merchandise all day. Sunday 20th of August: We eat breakfast, say goodbye to new and old friends, see you again at Euromeet Sweden 2024. Drive safe, take care and arrive home safely. See you later.

Accommodation in Fredrikstad.
We have pre-booked at Fredrikstad motel and camping in old Fredrikstad. The cabins consist of two bedrooms with family bunk. The cabins are fully equipped with what you need for 6 persons and have a patio with table and chairs. Bring bed linen or rent at the reception for NOK 100 per person including towel. Price per day NOK 1845. Price for the weekend from Friday - Sunday NOK 3670. The rooms at the motel have a simple standard with made beds and a sink, shared shower and toilet in the hallway separated for ladies and gentlemen. Price per double room per day NOK 835 / per weekend NOK 1670. Single room NOK 635 / NOK 1270. It is also possible to get a triple room at NOK 935 / NOK 1870, but we have not pre-ordered any of those.
